We have been making sculpture for positioning outdoors for the last twelve years. Most of these pieces are in English oak, which is very durable. It can be left untreated to go silver grey over the years, scorched black, or used with our limed white and scorched finish, all of which will be durable with a very occasional re-waxing. The other wood we use regularly is Western Red Cedar, again very durable, and also weathering to a beautiful silver-grey.

Most of our outdoor pieces are made to commission, and many of the interior pieces made in limewood are suitable for outdoor versions in oak. We are always very happy to discuss what would be appropriate, and arrange a site-visit.
